Film Location Finland

 

Film Location Finland is a network of regional film commissions that aims at marketing Finland as a shooting location for films, commercials and television productions.

The purpose of the Film Location Finland project is to develop and harmonize the services offered by the various film commissions and to create and execute a national marketing strategy to attract foreign productions to Finland.

The members of the Film Location Finland network are Finnish Lapland Film Commission, North Finland Film Commission, West Finland Film Commission, Tampere Region Film Commission and Villilä Studios. The network also collaborates with the East Finland Film Commission.

The Film Location Finland project is carried out by the POEM Foundation. The project was launched in November 2008 and will continue its activities until the end of 2010.
